A little about the story
Bob Hunt and his friends from Camp Pontiac set off for a summer in the Canadian wilds. There are canoe trips, mountain climbs, fishing, camp jokes and the occasional close call with falling rocks, along with plenty of advice about outdoor life.
George W. Orton was a famous athlete and camp director, and he wrote from experience. The book is full of the practical knowledge and friendly rivalry of a real summer camp.
