A little about the story
Ken Ward and his younger brother Hal head for the wild jungle rivers of Tamaulipas in Mexico. Ken hopes that by exploring an unknown river and reporting on it carefully, he can win a prize.
They hunt, fish and paddle through country full of jaguars, crocodiles, snakes and swarms of insects, and they discover that the jungle is both beautiful and terrible. Zane Grey wrote it from his own trips to the region.
