A little about the story
A young army lieutenant and his companion Roddy set out to fly round the world in an aeroplane in just seven days, an impossible-sounding feat in 1910. A cablegram starts them off, and they have rivals and enemies to contend with.
Their journey brings forced landings, sieges and fights with hostile men, as well as plenty of tinkering with the machine. Herbert Strang's exciting story imagines what the new flying machines might soon be able to do.
