A little about the story

The boys of Grand Pré School in Nova Scotia have a secret society, the B.O.W.C., and an appetite for adventure. They go tramping, sailing and exploring around the Bay of Fundy, get lost, have long debates and end up in all kinds of comic scrapes.

James De Mille, a Canadian professor and novelist, wrote these books with a lively sense of fun, and they give a vivid picture of the Nova Scotia countryside.
