A little about the story

In the sheep country of the English Lake District, two great dogs are rivals: Owd Bob, the grey dog of Kenmuir, gentle and wise, and Red Wull, the huge, savage dog of the bitter little man Adam M'Adam. Their rivalry plays out in the sheepdog trials and in a darker mystery on the fells.

Alfred Ollivant's novel is one of the greatest dog stories ever written, and a moving study of pride, loneliness and redemption.
