A little about the story
Tom and his friend are hurrying home at twilight along an Ohio country road when an exciting escape sets their adventure in motion. Before long they are out West on a cattle ranch, riding with the cowboys and learning the ways of the range.
There are horse thieves, a scheming neighbour who wants the ranch, roundups and wild rides across the plains. Frank V. Webster wrote straightforward, wholesome adventure stories for boys, and this one is full of saddle leather and open country.
