A little about the book
In the last years of his life, the Roman statesman and philosopher Seneca wrote a series of letters to his friend Lucilius, offering advice on friendship, wealth, grief, fear of death and how to live well.
Warm, practical and often witty, the letters are among the most readable works of ancient philosophy, and a cornerstone of modern interest in Stoicism.
