A little about the story
The animals, birds, reptiles and insects of the African forest speak for themselves: a giant eagle who calls himself the lord of the air, snakes, gorillas, elephants and more each tell how they live.
Paul Du Chaillu, the explorer who first described gorillas to Europeans, wrote these talking-animal stories from his own observations.
