A little about the story
Stories from the lesser-known apocryphal books of the Old Testament, legends that were once read in churches but are now almost forgotten: Adam and Eve after Eden, Joseph and Asenath, the testaments of the patriarchs and more.
M. R. James, a great scholar and famous ghost-story writer, retells them simply for young readers.
