A little about the story
Jane Allen, a ranch girl from the West, is back at Wellington College for her second year. Having fought her way onto the basketball team, she is now right guard, and she is determined to prove herself worthy of the position.
There are councils of war, bad news, class elections and a few old rivalries to settle, along with friendships that grow deeper through the year. It is a cheerful college story about sport, loyalty and growing up.
