A little about the story
A pure-blooded Persian kitten, born one of five on the twenty-third of April, tells the story of her own life: her nursery days, her first mouse, her opinion of the humans she calls Them and the dignified ways of a well-bred cat.
Violet Hunt, a novelist and friend of many famous writers, gives the cat a sharp, superior and very funny voice. Anyone who has lived with a cat will recognise her.
