A little about the story

Two ducks set out for a stroll one fine spring morning, and before long the creatures of the bog have a problem to solve. They decide to draw up a list of their woes and petition for mercy, and the story unfolds in bouncy, rhyming verse.

It is a quaint little picture-book poem from the 1840s, perfect for reading aloud.
