A little about the story
Grown-ups have such an annoying way of saying, Now, when I was a little girl… But Sara has found a way into the Garden of the Plynck, a magical place reached through the back of her imagination, where there is a Dimplesmithy, a lovely lady named Avrillia, crumbs and waffles and a little lost laugh.
Karle Wilson Baker, a Texas poet, wrote a whimsical fantasy in the spirit of Alice in Wonderland, full of wordplay and gentle wisdom about childhood.
