A little about the story

Young King Amor was raised by an Ancient One on a mountaintop, among the flowers and birds and stars. When he comes down to rule his kingdom, he finds an ugly, quarrelsome city full of unhappy people.

He makes one strange command: everyone must grow the blue flower. Frances Hodgson Burnett's short fable about kindness, gardens and the power of beauty is a cousin of The Secret Garden.
