A little about the story
A group of schoolboys have endless bright ideas: hair-clipping machines, gas machines and other inventions that go spectacularly wrong. Their misadventures cover everyone around them in soot and trouble.
Herbert Strang turns from his usual adventure stories to comedy, and the result is great fun.
