A little about the story
Buddy Pigg and his sister Brighteyes are two little guinea pigs who get into one gentle scrape after another. Buddy eats his way into a cabbage and falls fast asleep inside it, and the pair meet bugs, birds and animal neighbours who all have something to say.
Howard R. Garis, the creator of Uncle Wiggily, wrote these as bedtime stories, one per night, each ending with a playful hint of what comes next. Perfect for reading aloud to small children.
