A little about the story
A little picture book of rhymes about children and their small dramas: Naughty Josephine Maud, Nobby Bobby, Noisy William, Frightened Minnie, the shy Teabout sisters Susannah and Rosalba, soap bubbles, a Japanese doll, six little chickens and a new baby's arrival.
Virginia Gerson wrote and illustrated these sweet verses in the style of Kate Greenaway, and the charm is in the pictures as much as the words.
